Technical Support Engineer (Pre-Sales) Leading Mobile Security Company – Bournemouth
A Leading Mobile Security Organisation is currently seeking a Support Engineer to join it’s ever expanding team in the UK. The support Engineer will work directly in supporting a team of inside sales representatives working directly with prospects, customers and partners managing all the technical aspects of pre-sales activities through a successful deployment. The successful candidate will be the main technical and product adviser on the companys technology products.
Pre-Sales responsibilities include delivery of technical presentations via web conferencing, technical custom product demonstrations as well as picking up on buying signals, working with sales and providing/ suggesting technical trials where appropriate.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including strong Exchange and AD knowledge
Quick learner with desire to learn new tools and techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication, customer service skills.
Experience in security products
Experience working with relational databases (i.e. SQL)
Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.
Experience in at least one of the following areas: VPN’s, Security, Remote/Local Access, WAN, or Wireless.
