with IT Vendor Management team to manage Telecom suppliers through, spend analysis,
negotiations, aggregation, licensing, and Ts & Cs. This position is responsible to ensure that
category is managed according to Seagate policies and procedures, the current
audit policies, and to the highest ethical standards. The candidate for this position will be able
to develop, manage, and implement worldwide sourcing, contract management, and other
acquisition strategies that achieve best-in-class results while ensuring the
lowest total cost of ownership. This position requires strategic business
decision making and analysis of sourcing decisions, vendor models, and
providers of these services for optimal effectiveness and efficiency from both
a cost and performance perspective. Reducing and/or optimizing the
Vendor/Contract complexity dimension is a key objective. Candidate will be capable of performing
diverse proposal analysis, as well as negotiating and executing best in class agreements. Apply expertise as a generalist / specialist
and to apply supply management processes to diverse projects and situations. This may include identifying opportunities for
improvement, performing evaluations, investigating and benchmarking best
practices, and presenting ideas for change to other team members and senior

The successful candidate will be able to:
Manage Supplier relationships at a strategic level to
meet or beat key stakeholder success requirements. Directly handle and resolve conflicts
that occur between Seagate and Strategic Suppliers. Assess supply base and contractual risk
and develop risk mitigation plans.
Negotiate and implement various contracts, such as: Landline
Voice and Data Services Agreements, Wireless Services Agreements, PBX type contracts, Maintenance and
Support Agreements, 3 rd Party TEM contracts, Enterprise Level Agreements,
Non-Dislosure, and other agreements as applicable.
Align strategic requirements with qualified supply base
through supplier analysis (financial, process, quality, safety,

Demonstrated analytical experience is required.
Experience with eSourcing tools and processes are helpful.
Fluency in the English Language a must, with other languages helpful,
but not required.
BS Degree in Business, Computer Science or
Technology, Supply Management, or equivalent; MBA Preferred; Certified
Purchasing Manager(CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or
equivalent is a plus.
Possess proven project management skills. Experienced with software such as: Oracle, E2Open,
and E-sourcing, fluent in MS Excel, Word, Power Point and web based search
