Job Description

One of Modis clients is currently looking for a Senior IT Support Analyst for a permanent position.

Required Qualifications

Top 3 Skills :

  • Application, Desktop and Telecom (including wireless) support
  • Calm and professional demeanor when dealing with clients
  • Clear communication, organizational and leadership skills

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary Diploma, preferably in Computer Systems Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience including user support, network support, telecom support, mobile devices, fax and copier machines, PC hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with PC hardware/software maintenance and installation.
  • Must enjoy interacting with users and solving problems.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to details.
  • Good knowledge with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office and Active Directory.
  • Experience in business and market data applications i.e. Factset, Thomson One, and Bloomberg will be an asset.
  • Experience in technical support/helpdesk environment;
  • Experience with Web and Client/Server applications;
  • Being able to communicate in a calming and professional manner is paramount in this role
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of any production problem
