Senior Hardware Design Engineer, Cambridge
We are searching for a Hardware Design Engineer to join the team who develop internal chip and firmware test infrastructures and work on:
Board level design
Verilog design
Verilog test bench design
Programming of other programmable devices

The role will include but not be limited:
To run technical feasibility studies
To work with internal customers to generate technical specifications
To technically lead projects ensuring supporting services deliver on time to specification and to the required quality level
To develop board level designs to a high standard and to schedule
To support manufacturing with getting boards built, assembled and production tested
To develop and deliver firmware (Verilog, PIC code, etc) to a high standard and to schedule
To thoroughly test designs before release to customer(s), ensuring deliverables meet the required standards
To install, commission and quality check delivered infrastructures
To provide training on new systems

We are searching for a Hardware Design Engineer with the following profile:
A multi-skilled Engineer.
A good board level designer proficient in power supply, analogue, FPGA and high-speed digital design.
Proficient in Verilog product and test bench design,
Experienced in programming micro-controllers such as PICs
A good working knowledge of product development standards including EMC, safety, RF, and environmental; and is able to design products to comply with these standards
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team as required
Good communicator
Well motivated and able to manage own time
Good document writing skills
Experience of or interest in wireless communications product development, RF Design, product test experience
