The Internet of Things (IoT) group of RTC-NA in Pittsburgh is responsible for creating cutting-edge technologies that shape the future user experience of Bosch products. We collaborate closely with leading universities on solutions to hard challenges in applications, software architectures, middleware, and devices for the IoT. We work with Bosch business units to transfer our ideas and solutions into future products. This Research and Technology Center North America (RTC) office focuses on the topics of Software engineering and Software intensive multi sensor / multi data source systems.

Conduct research in software for the IoT in collaboration with an international team of experts. Actively probe opportunities and emerging trends, and contribute novel ideas for the IoT. Participate in the design and development of software for the IoT. Requirements
PhD (preferred) or MSc in Computer Science or related field. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Solid software development skills Excellent communication skills in English.
Expertise in software architectures and/or middleware for the IoT. Experience in ubiquitous computing and/or tutoring and user assistance systems. Research track record
