Job Description:
Provides technical expertise to ensure compliance with
airworthiness regulations of highly integrated, complex
systems that are designed using airborne electronic
hardware and software. Addresses issues associated with
hardware design techniques and the tools used in the
design process.

Job Requirements:
The candidate shall possess, at minimum, a bachelor’s
degree from an accredited college or university in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or
Systems/Software Engineering. Degrees from similar
fields will be considered. The candidate must have
acquired fifteen years of experience with aircraft
avionics and software digital systems with knowledge and
expertise on related policy, regulatory, and guidance
issues. Additionally, the individual must have knowledge
and experience in cybersecurity research areas, with the
ability to apply this knowledge to aircraft systems,
fly-by-wire/wireless electronics, and airborne networks.
