TEKsystems currently has a long term contract position for a Project Coordinator in Overland Park, KS.

Scope of Work:
The Project Coordinator will coordinate and assist the Project Manager in stages and subgroups of spiral process through the project plan including action items and issue logs.

This should be an entry level person that has demonstrated the capability to act in a Project Management role. The candidate does not need to be a certified professional PM.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Test and certification process management

Requirements:

• Experience in project management of technical teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently within established processes
• Ability to work in fast paced environments with competing priorities
• Ability to manage complex problems toward resolution
• Ability to lead small teams

Additional skills:

• Knowledge of wireless networks and devices a plus
