Job Description:
Product Manager will be responsible for the development and launch of profitable and marketable new products that are in line with the strategic vision, growth plans, and profit goals. The Product Manager will be responsible for all aspects of product launch, from initial concept stage, through production, line management, and all stages of product life cycle. The focus for this role is a holistic one – ensuring that Fonegear provides the best possible product and experience to not only our current, but future users as well.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver product lines sales revenue and profit targets for existing and new business product line portfolio. Create strategic/ marketing plans for development and product launch Drive all aspects of new product development, including concept development, product ideation, product definition, market research, product design development and testing, product specifications, market launch planning. Develop category and competitive analysis to optimize the business performance and growth potential of new products and initiatives. Grow and maintain knowledge base as industry expert, including consumer/customer trends, market analysis, competitive positioning, products, and pricing, and segment opportunities and threats. Determine and evaluate consumer need gaps relative to new potential business areas. Develop customer/channel strategies including good/better/best product and marketing differentiation. Actively participate in key customer planning and presentations including sales meetings and trade shows. Direct and keep all projects on schedule with timelines and milestone tracking, and maintain required quality and target cost levels. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Marketing or other Business discipline Minimum of 7+ years in Product Management – consumer electronics experience strongly preferred Strong experience sourcing and negotiations with overseas vendors Strong new product development experience Proven experience with product line P&L management and budgeting Excellent organization and project management skills Experience in working with regulated quality and safety standards Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize workload without missing critical deadlines Experience identifying trends and voids in marketplace Strong analytical and decision making skills Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross functions Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong presentation skills Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills with capacity for creative, out of the box thinking Strong negotiating and problem solving skills Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail PC literate: Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point) Willingness to travel overseas, or within US as needed
Additional Information
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Full-time position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Life/AD&D, 401(k), paid holidays and vacations. Relocation support is not included. EEOC Employer
