Position Overview:
Our Sales Associates take great care of our customers. Everything we do is based on delivering an outstanding customer experience and providing inspiration for our products and services. Our team members are accountable for:

Demonstrating knowledge of the products and services we sell in all channels (in-store, online and mobile) and commit to ongoing learning to continuously improve their skills by completing all training and attending all meetings. Team members may act as a mentor for others to support their development

Proactively connecting with Customers in-person, by phone or by email to provide an outstanding customer experience that will result in long-term relationships. This includes initial consultation, post-transaction lessons and follow-up and manage customer interactions from end to end

Delivering required sales targets through the effective use of customer experience programs

Producing high quality print products through the effective use and operation of all printers and related equipment

Contributing to a positive in-store experience by completing non-selling tasks including housekeeping, inventory, replenishment and merchandising tasks and opening and closing procedures

Contributing to strong operational excellence by applying all policies and procedures to ensure compliance, safety, financial accuracy and reliability


Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Friendly, helpful and outgoing style with strong social skills

Shows interest in creative pursuits

Demonstrated comfort and proficiency with technology and active users of social photo-sharing sites (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)

Required Experience and Education:
Successful completion of Grade 12

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in customer-facing role in retail , hospitality or similar field

Participation in extra-curricular sports, clubs or volunteer activities

Other Requirement:
Required to have a TELUS smartphone activated on the Wireless Ambassadors program

Required availability for evenings and weekends to meet customer requirements

Ability to access and participate in online training from home

Ability to travel for training and to support other locations up to 35 kms
