The Odyssey Club Producer position exists to organize and coordinate various media development teams ensuring that audio, video, print, web, events, activities, and games combine into cohesive, engaging club member experiences.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Researches potential ACTS partnership organizations; contacts approved organizations and pitches the concept; solicits stories from the partnering organizations for use in the ACTS audio drama; acquires video assets of the approved stories and works in tandem with available staff to coalesce web quest components
Prepares thoroughly-researched background information of partner organizations and submitted stories
Works with Legal Department on contracts for approved partner organizations
Is responsible for development of ACTS website; working with approved vendors and freelance web content providers, garnering internal input and sign off
Creates content as able and necessary
Oversees maintenance of the website, and ensures that it stays fresh with constant updates. Assists in locating multimedia materials to guide the programming web editor in website enhancement
Works in tandem with Executive Producer to brainstorm and develop storylines for the club dramas
Works closely with Executive Producer of both Audio Drama and Films to develop video documentaries
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs other duties, including but not limited to duties as assigned, some of which may include the development and creation of a variety of copyrightable works (e.g., print, photography, film, music, visual arts, etc.) for distribution in any and all media and formats (such as television, radio, internet, wireless, DVD, satellite and digital) on a world-wide basis, all of which shall be for the benefit of Focus on the Family

Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Arts related project management
Knowledge of Focus on the Family’s mission, philosophy, values, and objectives
There is no relocation offered for this position. Local candidates will be considered first.
Internal candidates will be given first consideration for this position.
The starting salary for this position is $3,740 per month.
