Information Systems and Technology is responsible for all IT services in the University and committed to high quality services. We are looking for an individual to lead the Networks Team in Networks and Infrastructure at the beginning of a three year project to upgrade the campus networks and wireless service. Working in the Networks and Infrastructure service you will be responsible for leading the Network Team and managing the services it provides, as well as managing a project to roll out the new Network Service across the University. In addition, you will play a part in shaping the future IT services of the University in a significant role within the Department.
We’re looking for a person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an innovative and flexible approach. The ability to work in a team is essential, alongside the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines effectively. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant experience in network management. Prior experience of leading and directing multi skilled teams and ability to demonstrate project management skills are essential.
In depth knowledge and experience of Cisco networks is also essential.
