We are seeking an experienced
Network Analyst,
Unified Communications
for our
North American Headquarters
District office located in
Edmonton, AB.
Responsible for the design, implementation, support and ongoing maintenance of unified communications products and services at our data center in Edmonton and offices throughout North America.
Responsibilities
Work with unified communications components including end user devices, call processing servers, media gateways and session border controllers through the entire lifecycle: Evaluation, selection, installation, configuration, management, maintenance and support
Monitor unified communications components for performance, utilization and availability and acting to resolve identified issues
Evaluate new technologies and providing recommendations as to their suitability for our organization
Develop and maintain relevant documentation, procedures and checklists
Serve as a unified communications technical resource to management, staff and customers
Record incidents, inquiries and requests in the prescribed IT service management system
Periodic reporting of activities to management
Work after hours, on weekends and on call is required
Qualifications
Network Design and Operation experience, including Data, voice and video, wired and wireless
Experience with detailed network traffic analysis
Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Ability to effectively establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff and customers
Initiative and ability to effectively organize and prioritize work
