The Hallmark Merchandise Supervisor or Territory Assistant is responsible for supervising the greeting card merchandisers in all or our wholesale and retail businesses. It’s a job that requires a lot of organization, customer service and initiative. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
You will be supervising a group of Retail Merchandisers within a specific geography. You will be responsible for performance management, motivation, and training of Retail Merchandisers as well as coordinating store level activities. You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships and interacting regularly with store personnel and management. You will be responsible for managing service budgets, travel budgets, and all other costs associated with store level service. This position will require you to lift boxes up to 50lbs as well as stoop, squat, walk and stand for long periods of time. If you store is being revised, reset or remodeled you are expected to be present and participate in the activity. You will use technology (internet and/or a handheld wireless device) for various job activities, reporting time and viewing policies and information.
As a Territory Assistant for this position, your territory will include 11-20 Walmart stores with a central location of Albuquerque, NM.
The service schedule is flexible, Monday-Friday, as you will determine your schedule based upon the needs of your accounts.
Most work will be completed during the morning and early afternoon hours but there may also be occasional weekend and evening hours required during the seasonal times.
Although hours are not guaranteed, you will typically work 16-20 hours each week during non-seasonal times and 21-25 hours during busy holiday periods.
You should also be available to work up to an 8 hour shift the day before and the day after any major holiday.
