Description

Position Overview:
The Marketing Market Intelligence Team is responsible for leading the development, governance, management and execution of FFH Marketing performance metrics measurement and reporting. The team provides information, commentary and analysis that is integral to both operating and improving the business.

We are looking for a seasoned, highly motivated and results driven market intelligence professional to join our team with a blend of marketing analytics and technical skills.

In addition to delivering performance results and management insight, the successful candidate will evolve our business intelligence capabilities to continuously improve our management reporting and business analysis efforts.

Candidates must be comfortable working within a dynamic and cross-functional environment and explaining complex concepts, methodologies and analysis results to a diverse stakeholder community.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the translation of business requirements into technical specifications

Identify and build reporting structure and content

Extract, cleanse and modify raw data from data warehouse, conduct marketing analysis or measurement

Ensure timely completion of analysis while maintaining high quality

Drive value added analysis and reporting that enables the senior members of the marketing team to take action

Responsible for process and system change to manage requirement definition, business case development and risk assessment

Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required

Contribute to other corporate strategic initiatives as required

Qualifications

Required Knowledge:
Superior proficiency in SAS a must

Proven experience in business intelligence and data warehouse technologies as Cognos, Oracle, other SQL based tools

Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge in Excel and MS office suite

Experience establishing & maintaining cross functional relationships (Finance, Marketing, Product Development)

Proven ability to work under pressure and short response timelines

Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast pace environment

Confidence to adapt to and manage changing priorities

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines

Required Experience:
7+ years of hands-on experience in extracting large volume of data from data warehouse using SAS, Oracle, SQL

7+ years hands-on experience in development and production of reporting and analysis in an OLAP environment

7+ years working experience in a market/business intelligence, database marketing and data warehousing environment
