Manager Network and Security Operations (R13-381)
The manager of network and security operations is responsible for proactive monitoring and management of PGE’s production systems for Data, Voice, Video and information security for a 7x24x365 operational environment where uptime is critical and requires immediate response to service impacting issues.
Top candidates will have:
Typically, bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and Technical Certifications is required.
Strong track record of accomplishments and results.
Proven ability to motivate, guide and mentor staff.
Demonstrated experience leading/managing in network operations group environment.
A strong technical background with the capability of stepping in and assisting the team in trouble-shooting and triage of incidents, bringing issues to rapid resolution.
Working knowledge of the following technologies and areas:
Network switches, routers, firewalls, Monitoring tools, Intrusion detection and prevention, Virus protection tools, Wireless Technologies.
Typically, 10+ years of experience in a complex technical environment, including hands on installation and troubleshooting in an operational environment.
5+ years’ experience in Engineering/IT Infrastructure in a leadership role.
5+ years project management responsibility, demonstrating leadership skills and possessing a track record of managing technical or business staff and financial resources.
