Salary £17,000 – £20,000 per annum
A permanent role responsible for supporting the IT Technician across a broad spectrum of responsibilities. This role is primarily to support users through day to day issues in relation to any technical problem they may have, and to quickly escalate any issue which need further attention. Key other responsibilities will include maintenance and upgrades to the current infrastructure, server migrations onto SharePoint hosted solutions, site visits to remote offices for on-site support, inventory and ordering stock, mobile phone support and also installations of wired or wireless networks into new buildings
The successful IT Support Technician will:
You will have good organisation skills and be able to prioritise, work under pressure and work to tight deadlines. It is essential that you will be a good communicator, be able to approach and work with all levels of users and have experience of working in an IT support environment for a minimum of 12 months. To be Microsoft Certified is a distinct advantage, although not essential. You will also hold a relevant qualification in IT (e.g. NVQ Level 3 for IT professionals)
