Instrumentation Engineer/Specialist
Job Requirements
- Electrical/Computer Engineering degree or Technologist (Electrical/Electronic/Computer)
- 4+ years’ experience in industrial controls, preferably in Oil & Gas
- P. Eng registration with APEGA or CET with ASET
- Experience in upstream oil and gas
- Well versed with Honeywell SCADA and DCS systems (Experion PKS R310, TPS, TDC 3000, TDC2000)
- Hands-on experience in with some or all of the following:
o Honeywell system design, engineer, and installations
o HMI development using HMI Web and Display Builder
o Honeywell PHD system
o W knowledge of the Honeywell Alarm Configuration Manager
- Working knowledge of network and communication systems (Ethernet, Modbus, UCL, LCN, radio and spread spectrum wireless)
- Good working knowledge of Visual Basic and C++
- Knowledgeable in Process Control and Oil & Gas control applications
- Experience in P&ID, Alarm/Shutdown Key and Control Narrative development
- Modicon PLC and DeltaV system experience a definite asset
