Full Time Average Hours per Week: Category: Information Technology JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary: Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations, security and support of the corporate and property’s network computer infrastructure. Evaluates needs and determines specific systems needs to ensure proper operation of the network infrastructure. Develops recommendations and prepares both departmental and systems expenditure requirements for hardware and software to ensure that IT service needs are met. Reviews, evaluates and recommends staff assignments to ensure service and support requirements are met.

Performs all functions in accordance with federal/state and local laws and statutes; upholds the Mission and Objectives of the Company, as well as established policies, procedures and controls. Essential Functions: • Maintain, secure and administer LAN, WAN, and Wireless Infrastructure. • Establish and enforce IT service level agreements for problem resolution. • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols and standards in support of IT technology procurement and development efforts.

• Liaison with vendors for the procurement of new systems technologies, oversees installation, and resolve adaption issues. • Manage day-to-day operations of IT engineering staff and ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end user issues. • Coordinate and perform hands-on fixes at the server and network level, including installing hardware and configuring systems and applications. • Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.

• Assess need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) based on request. • Train, coach and mentor Network and Server Engineers. • Manage corporate IT assets in a manner maximizing the investment in technology development, upgrade and refresh. • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of network and server infrastructure.

• Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum five years prior experience in same or similar role • Previous I.T. systems management experience in the gaming or hotel industry preferred. • Extensive experience with network security and compliance (PCI, PII) • Extensive experience with network hardware, including windows servers, Cisco and Brocade switches, NAS, SAN racks, Cisco ASA firewalls, SSL VPN, Cisco Intrusion Prevention Sensors, and cable infrastructure.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills in VPN and networking support. • Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Ability to effectively communicate high tech information to non-technical users • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities • Previous experience working independently; prioritizing and planning work • Strong decision making skills and sound judgment • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time • Experience with Visio and diagram design • Experience with Microsoft Server 2003/2008 • Associate’s degree in I.T. or equivalent • Bachelor’s degree in I.T.

or related field preferred • CCNA/Network+ required • CCNP, CCSP, MCITPRO Enterprise Administrator, a plus • Reliable transportation is required • Must have reliable communication (i.e. cell phone, pager) readily available when not at work in case company needs to reach out during non-scheduled work hours Required Work Cards • Nevada Gaming Physical Requirements • Working indoors in a seated position (over 75% of the time) • Vision, speech, hearing and literacy (critical) • Able to lift 50 pounds • Ability to move throughout the property in a timely manner • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention detail • Ability to work in smoky and noisy environments that may include hot and cold room temperatures.
