Rogers Communications Inc., headquartered in Toronto, is Canada’s national communications company, engaged in three primary lines of business – wireless, cable and media. The Fraud department is currently looking to fill a full time Fraud Systems Administrator role. Working in a fast-paced, collegial atmosphere, the candidate will be an integral part of the fraud team and also work closely with other cross-functional departments.
Reporting into the Fraud Systems Manager, your core duties will include:
Support the various Fraud Systems including the users of these systems
Create and maintain rules within the Fraud Systems
Work with outside vendors for support and development relating to the various systems
Interact with internal departments (OSS, Engineering and IT) on a regular basis
Produce fraud statistics and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Maintain and support the High Usage Reporting system and databases
Conduct training and support for the users of the systems as required
Develop and run SQL queries and MRE reports
Develop and maintain MS Access databases as required
Provide on-call assistance during the evenings, weekends and holidays
Post-secondary education (IT related preferred)
Comprehensive knowledge of wireless communication (GSM, SMS, GPRS), call detail records, cell sites and switches
Knowledge of data warehouse management and design
Strong working knowledge of SQL
Working knowledge of Windows operating system XP and MS software
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be detail-oriented and effective in time management
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in wireless fraud an asset
