My client is a long established, UK company, a world-leader in wireless communications products, and have recently opened a new office in the Bristol area and require talented Embedded Software Engineers to join this team.

Applicants need to be high calibre Embedded Engineers with solid embedded C firmware expertise and a good appreciation for hardware.

Ideal embedded engineers will possess a good degree (i.e. 1st or 2:1) in software or engineering and the following skills:

• embedded software development experience
• debugging embedded software
• experience of development in ‘C’ for embedded processors
• scripting languages such as Perl, Python
• wireless networking protocols such as Bluetooth, UWB, Wireless LAN
