Our client is a leading provider of Point of Sale technology solutions and we are working with them throughout the growth of their Vancouver sales office. As part of their strategic growth for 2013 they are seeking a Director of Partnerships. This is a crucial role to the organizations and will work to solidify referral partners in particular, as well as further establish and define the partner verticals. This role is crucial in providing leads to the remainder of the sales force through these strategic partnerships. Partners would include but are not limited to financial institutions, wireless operators, and software and hardware developers. The Director of Partnerships role is a full cycle sales role from prospect to close and continued management and ongoing growth of the partnership; as the Partner Channel grows this role will also include managing and leading other members of the Strategic Partnerships team. Working closely with the direct sales force to analyze the quality of the leads as well as working with the product team to identify product related partnerships is also part of the scope of responsibility.

To qualify for this role you are a proven sales professional with a track record for success. Your background should be in technology, software, mobile or payment solutions. You are a strategic thinker that is able to create strong relationships while delivering excellent sales results. Previous experience in development of partnerships is a strong asset. This is a senior sales role and we are seeking candidates with 5+ years of solid business development experience and tangible results ONLY. Qualified candidates are team players and bring a positive enthusiastic energy to their work.
