Our client is seeking to fill a short-term (6 month) contract to assist with the deployment of new hardware (desktops and laptops). Additionally, this resources maybe needed to perform some desktop support duties.
Duties Include:
Make contact with customers to arrange deployment schedule
Image workstations to departmental specifications
Install additional software as needed.
Physically move each completed system to the assigned office location.
Migrate user data, setting and applications from old hardware to new hardware
Verify user has access to network resources as required (including wireless capabilities)
Provide basic instruction to user as needed

Qualifications
Required:
Experience providing upgrades and migrations of pc new hardware to end users
Minimum of 2 year””s current work experience providing support of the following:
Desktops and local/networked printers
Microsoft operating systems, MS Office and MS Exchange
Novel Netware
Active Directory
A+ Certification
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Planning and organization skills
Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette
Attention to detail
Ability to perform diagnostics on software and/or hardware
Ability to resolve routine and non-routine problems independently and in consultation with technical lead, peers and vendors
Preferred:
Experience using remote control software to provide desktop support
MCP Certification
LANDesk experience
