Identifies, develops, and closes new business in the Medium to Large Enterprise segment. Primary focus is on in-region, new-logo businesses for multi-year contracts. Individual will not be responsible for post sale account support or renewals. Responsibilities include: Identify new business leads through prospecting; adherence to Seller Activity Model; make initial customer contact and track prospects; qualify and develop sales opportunity including product/solution identification and base quotes; engage sales engineering to develop solutions for customers based on needs analysis; develop and present proposed product(s) / solution(s) to the customer; negotiate and close customer on price and contract terms; prepare sales proposals / contracts for orders and ensure signed and routed; when applicable, conduct customer hand-off to assigned account manager; achieve / exceed monthly sales goals. Ideal candidate has 2 or more years of business-to-business acquisition/hunter sales experience.
In this position, you are responsible for the account acquisition process from initial customer prospecting through contract signature. In order to meet and exceed monthly revenue objectives, this position requires, but is not limited to, cold calling, prospecting, proposal generation, pricing, and contract negotiations. After obtaining the contract signature, the Acquisition Sales Representative will transition the customer to an Implementation Support team for implementation.
